hello gents,
as far as know, not many scopes can survive a relationship with M305/M14s...:slap:
so, question: how Bushnell HOLOsights do survive in this situation?

if you have such an experience, please advise :)
thanks
best regards
Kot

I have a jackyiscxd aimpoint clone on my M14, mounted with a R33 scout mount and a Arms 22 low quick detach ring... No issues yet... Why is it that some people think the M14 is a scope wrecker? I'd say your good to go with any decent optic...

Cheers
Jay

Variable magnification scopes are the issue, not the fixed mag;)

I have the exact same setup as you. 40 rounds in and the rear lens on my Aimpoint clone came loose on Saturday afternoon. Otherwise was still shooting right on!

I can't remember, do we have a warranty on these things?

If not, any suggestions on what to use to glue the lens?

Sharkson, can you post pics of the damaged scope? That's the first I have heard of that happening...

Cheers and THANKS!

Broken Aimpoint Clone Pics

You get what you pay for!

This represents less than 40 rounds of Port 7.62:

Another view - see the lens is loose?

So, what should I use to glue the lens back onto the housing? I have yet to take it apart, but will attempt it this weekend.

Whoa!!! Looks to me like someone assembling that sucker forgot to use the adhesive... Or spring clip or what ever they use to mount the lens...

I'm going to check mine tonight also, I hope it's not a common problem. I'm happy with my setup and it's performance... especially at the price...

Cheers and THANKS for the pics!
Jay
P.S. Is that clone the aimpoint m2 clone that jackyiscxd from this board sells? For some reason, in the pics you posted, it looks a little different than mine...
