NAA, not too bad! Seriously though, it has a crappy wooden stock & that's about it.

Sights (Rear) sometimes need to be replaced because of movement or crude apeture. Magazine fit sometimes needs 'adjustment.' That's about it. They can be tuned to your satisfaction.

Biggest problem is and always will be NOT ENOUGH AMMO.

pretty well everything else is really cosmetic imo. Unless you're going for precision shooting, then refer to Hungry & Skullboys lessons learned stickies on what to get they are invaluable.

They sell out too fast, and then you have to wait another year for the next container to arrive!

You can't stop at just one.

Mine, had I not sold it, would have required indexing (screwing into proper alignment) of the barrel.

spend too much money upgrading the rifle and you want to do it over again with another one.

It's a good cartridge (.308/7.62), and the bits and pieces are built tough. There are a few minor problems that crop up, but these in no way stop you from enjoying your rifle, it just doesn't shoot as good. These can be fixed for practically nothing, just a little work on your rifle.

All in all, a very enjoyable rifle for $400.00!

I'm hoping to stop at three M305 rifles.
