M305 Re-Barreling

Hey Guys,

I'm interested in picking up an M305 but I would like to change the caliber, preferably to .243. Has anyone attempted this? If so, I would be interested in talking to them.

Try asking in the Main Battle Rifles subforum, that's where most of the m305/m14 experts live.

That said I've never heard of a cost effective caliber change like that, but I suppose someone might have done it.
