I don't recall ever pulling apart anybody's sights at any M14 clinic since the Norinco sights are a PITA to dis and reassemble. Unless you have a set of USGI sights nearby, keep you Norc sights intact.... they may not come together too nicely. This is one of the ONLY drawbacks with the M14 Norinco bangstick.
