m305 scope mount & rings advise pls

Yes they will work fine , I had some mounted on an arms18 mount which is very similar
Sorry cant post my pics from photobucket on this computer I am using .

yup, me and buzzballer did just that combination a month ago... go for it. Just ensure you read the directions for the Angle-Loc rings carefully.... 2 full turns out from the right (or left) side should center the Angle-Loc ring in the Promag mount, and then you should center your reticle by:

Take the scope and turn the windage knob ALL the way left (or right , your call).
Turn that windage knob all the way across and COUNT the number of full turns
Split that in half (give or take)
Then take that split in half number to return your reticle to the center

I hope you are mounting decent glass. I even did this with a Tasco once  and it did not break on me. What a surprise. I've since upgraded all my glass to Leupold Mark4 because I cannot afford NightForce or Schmidt Bender optics (yet).

I was impressed about that Promag quality even if I'm a ARMS18 Lover.

Keep us posted on your progress!

Cheers,
Barney

i'm running a promag pm081a with medium angle loc rings. makes it easy to setup the mount/scope if theres any windage issues.

only issue i had was i had to take off the rear sight aperture because it was interfering with the scope power ring. (falcon 1.5-5x)

not the best pic. but thats the setup

CASM mount

Picatinny rail, installs easily as long as you follow the supplied instructions. Did mine in five minutes and provides a good strong 3 point mount. You lose the rear sight though since it attaches in the rear sight pocket. A plus is that with side mounts it's harder to use an extended bolt release, and with this guy the sides are all open so easier to use by far. It's available through M14 .ca and those guys were great to deal with.
Hope that helps.

Casm

Other than its a lot higher than the ARMS 18 style. Im not a big fan if the ARMS and even less of the CASM. My recommendation is to go Smith Enterprises but to each his own.

I was wondering this same thing too. But all I can see is that I remove my rear sight as an attachment point. Were are the other 2 attachment points?
If I don't get this one I think I will get this one.
I just shot a couple of pic's of Louanne with her new mount and here they are.
To answer some other question's, the mount is steel and well made and was 120.75 to my door.
Thank's again Jerry
