Is this oprod a bit loose or is this normal?

Thanks

Thanks Matt
Nothing has popped out yet but I'm a little concerned...

Hi Pop... She's pretty easy to disassemble :)

loose enough that it may not give consistant down range results
tight enough that it won't pop out on you.
'fairly normal" wiggle for a Chinese rifle
if it were my rfle and one I wanted to squeeze the best out of it, that oprod would be replaced.
but ..... not a safety or functionality issue as long as it's not disengaging at the take down notch during rapid fire.

Mine is that loose as well and it hasn't effected accuracy, but I haven't put that many rounds through it yet.

What is the fix? Replacement?

Uhuh. ^^^^
Or if you have tig welding experience and a milling machine it's not unheard of to create new like tab dimensions.

Or just replace with used/new usgi or rwb if you can find one at a dealer

Or just leave it be if it's functioning reliably.
Routinely inspect oprod tab and bolt roller for damage/wear during cleanings.

I have a brand new Springfield M1A National Match and that is similar to the amount of play mine has (mine may be slightly less). I will post a video when I get a chance.
