I recently picked up a spare M305 trigger group/op rod package being offered on the EE,
and when comparing it to my other triggers I noticed something interesting.
The trigger itself has the FA tab, and the mag release has a solid pin instead of a roll pin.
The oprod has the cutout for the connector! Apparently the vendor had quite a few of these available,
the add is gone now, but from what I was able to glean these parts came from Bell import marked rifles,
which I understand were imported in the 90's? I'd love to know more on the back story regarding these parts!
I've got to say it is the best Norinco trigger I have seen, and the trigger group and oprod had no wear whatsoever.
Anyone else who got one of these sets, give yourself a pat on the back, and thanks a bunch to the seller b........r
for passing this smoking deal on to us! New trigger on the right.View attachment 25203View attachment 25204View attachment 25205View attachment 25206

Yeah they all came off rifle destined to CA in the 1990s.

Well enroute laws changed and upon receipt the receivers were all destroyed - including rear sites/bolts etc. Many of the parts were salvaged and it was cheaper to ship to Canada - this is why full kits come with a cut muzzle break that is tig welded on (US compliance).

The parts were in storage for years and many were sold via Bell (large Norinco distributer) to Milarm in Edmonton.

They still have kits left - most parts minus the receive/bolt/rear site with a synthetic stock...all parts are new!!!

Thanks for that!

I remember the then owner of Milarm at the Easter Calgary gunshow about 20 years ago or so, he was selling "M-14" parts by the pound. When I asked him if they were Chinese parts, he would not say. He claimed he stripped them off of Federal arms receivers , and the U.S. would not let them cross the border.
