Okay boys I love my M305a but the plassstique is killing me, I bought a chu-wood stock looks beautiful but it's... Bulky in nature large grip large forend not Tacticool. So what solutions do we have??? Anything with an exchangeable stock liner right?

Wrong I put mine snuggly-duggy into a USGi fiberglassy-boi with no mods to the receiver or stock :) ask me how

So first I noticed in the the Fiberglass stock there was nothing for our ak mags to hook onto, no liner no nuffin.

But then I realized the Op-Rod spring guide stuck out a bit... So I stuck the mag in realizing there's a gap between the spring guide and the mag front lip. These are the pics of my finding scienceses and figuringoutis enjoy :D

Gotta get it tig welded a bit and a little more fine tuning with the dremel for extra smoothness but she works and is reverseable as the only modified part is the spring guide

Take a look at the Hammerhead adapter. It will allow you to use any stock with your M305A. No mod required. Drop in.

exile machine's hammerhead adapter?
that is for AR-15 rifles and is a California compliant unit that does away with the pistol grip.

I can't see any pics in this thread, the imgur notice says the link isn't there.

I am curious to see a picture of the m305A stock and insert/liner as I have not handled an m305a 7.62x39

The m14.ca's hammerhead adapter.

As far as the m305a liner goes, I posted pictures in my comparison thread. Do you need a specific angle?

so it's the same liner , just has another piece welded in for the 7.63x39 mags.
thanx for the pics :) that explains it to me just fine.

Kicking around breaking my morals and buying a Chinese gun just cuz I own a few other 39 guns and wanna try something different. Downside is the weight tho
