Does anyone know what the M31's are going for these days? I couldn't find any prices to go by on the EE.

Mine is in good shape with 4 stick mags and the drum mag to go with it.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I added up a total of just over $1000 if one was/ could buy it all from TradeEx. Not sure what the demand is like for these guns though.

Not that high. People usually think they want one until they have one and shoot it. Between the extreme weight and the unreliably, they quickly turn into EE candidates or are forgotten in the gun room.

Mine shoots beautifully after I fixed the #### welds. Paid less than 650 all in with 3 stick mags and a drum from a store shipped. Cost me 3 hours of my own time and 0 to reweld. Unfortunately I ran out of ammo and havent bought any since cause prices suck and havent had time to reload.
I consider it one of my better gun purchases. If it was an original open bolt Id be happier but cant expect the government to trust us can we.

Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated! Glad to hear you're enjoying yours DJ. Yes they are quite heavy rifles, those Fins must have been pretty tough to lug one of those around fully loaded during the war.

Stray, what was wrong with your rifle?

Don't forget when in service they had shorter barrels and a different reciever and would go full auto with full cap mags! So they were a much different beast than what TNW has given us.

They stll look the part and are a shootable piece of history, so can be fun but just not for everybody.

Yeah, I'm happy with mine. A lot of people don't like the weight to it because she is VERY heavy

On the Suomi I had...I noted that it jammed on every round. The round, as it came up to where the nonexistant feed ramp should have been, would dig right in and end up jammed at 45 degrees. I never got to see an original Suomi and how they did the feed ramp angle, but I can only assume that they worked better than the TNW version. The round has to do a big jump up from the mag to the chamber...normally the designers allow for this.

Also, some time, just for fun...take a 9mm JR Carbine and a Suomi to the range. Note the gigantic difference in enjoyment between shooting 10 rounds from a 100% reliable Glock magazine in a JR and the dreadful drag of clearing jams from a 5 round Suomi mag.

The JR is long gone but I'd buy another one...if the CPC wins.
