With a minor bit of work, they will also fit a SMALL RING 98 Mauser. I have successfully used one to rebarrel a WWI German KAR 98. This is a small ring Mauser, not the later 98k of WWII vintage. It might even fit some of the Turkish Mausers, but some of the Turkish Mausers have a small diameter barrel thread, and some have a large diameter one.
