Today i bought a 3X9X40 redfield Revolution for my Benelli M4... I am invited in December to a whitetail shotgun only hunt in Pennsylvania at one of my friend place, it is near Behtleem in north Penn, will hunt with 7/8 ounces Rem rifled slug out off the smooth bore at 50 metres they were shooting in 3 inchs so with the scope i may gain one inch so i should be good for 80 metres or so... With my non-resident permit i have to fill a form and when you cross the border, they will have you register and ask to see your permit and passeport and maybe they could asked to see the shotgun, not very complicated and you have to give the adress were you are going to, that what i was explain, the last time i went hunting in the states was prior to 911, turkey hunting... JP.

Yes it is tall but i will order a pad that strap onto the stock, if i still had my 40 years old sight, would not need the frigging scope, i needed the see-tru as it was important to co-whiteness with the ghost sight for the buckshot, in case, the way i will do it one slug in the chamber, one slug next and 4.... 00 buck after that... JP.

Got to the range today to try out my new cheek pad, it is perfect, after zeroing the M4 bulleye at 100 metres (6 inch group) i did put a target at 70 yards and really took my time to have a group, and i am proud to have been able to shoot inside 4 inch at over 200 feets, pretty go for whitetail... The good thing is the scope and the cheekpad can be taken of very fast, if i hunt very thick wood, i will go with the ghost sight, if i have an open space back up everything, 2 times today i took them of and reinstalled them with no zero lost... JP.
