Hey, I got a M41 swedish mauser, all rifle parts are matching matching but the scope mount and AGA M42 are not. Sadly someone cut the original stock right before the upper handguard band. Bore is very good, it is accurate. I put it in a m96 stock. The scope would need restoration as the lens are cloudy, but the adjustements seem to work well. I was wondering if people could give me more infos based on the pictures attached and what would be it's approximative value. I might look to sell it to finance more projects.
Thanks for your time, I'll update this post as it goes.

Yeah I've seen a few in Canada and the e&e however very rare and limited info on these.

On the US side? They sold them by the crates if I remember correctly. Outfit from Florida.

Wish I had more info. They all seem to be fitted with the Ajack 4x, most of them in Very good condition.

I was looking at one at the Calgary gun show 2 years ago. As I recall it was in good shape but not matching numbers. Believe it was priced around $2500.

However one in a mismatched stock with a cloudy scope requiring work would be a lot less. I am guessing a starting point of $1500 might be appropriate.

It will be around $3-4k, theres an auction in 2017 a all mathching except scope, good condition m41 are sold for $3700.

That's why I don't buy at auction...lol
Auction is sketchy buying higher $$ items online, might have one picture, no description or completely inaccurate description. That would not fly on here in the EE.

A gun show price? Can pretty much knock 30% right off the top IMO. Don't feel like getting *ss raped at gun shows much any more...they are usually cray cray crazy price wise.

As I recall, gun show prices were actually fairly reasonable compared to the crazy high auction prices we have these days. Regular gun shows can't return soon enough for me.

this is how I would look at it.
IF you were to part it out what would you expect to get for it?
rifle with two messed up stocks- $300-600?
original scope mount and base - $300-600?
AgA scope that requires restoration $300- $800?
then you could subtract the cost to have the scope repaired. If you could find someone competent and willing to do the work.
