The Polish M44's are definitely the best I've ever used as well. I shoot a couple factory #11 M-44's and they group exactly like Ryan says, using my handloads. That's not bad considering we're shooting iron sights! I expect with a scope they'd be near 1 inch groups with good ammo. I have seen some good looking Mosins shoot absolutely horrid and some pretty crude looking ones shoot pretty good. Probably a wide range of bore diameters during wartime production in Russia. They did have a nasty situation on their hands at the time. GRIN My son shoots a Russian one and he can shoot between 2.5 and 3 inches at 100 yards with good Privi ammo or my handloads. Gret old guns!
