M54 30 06 Mexican Mauser value ?

Off the top of my head I paid 500 and shipping for mine about 4 years ago. No cleaning rod or sight hood, but excellent shape otherwise.

People in the US have searched for a decent one for years, with no luck. I found one just recently, came in a collection that my Buddy and I bought. If it is in decent shape, not molested, pay the price. People are paying $600+ for reasonable RC's and M48's, so you might use that as an unofficial guide.

Most of the decent ones got chopped up to make sporters in the US, with very few surviving in original condition, and even fewer making it to Canada. Also, the old "it's a Mexican Mauser, so it can't be much good" thinking has perhaps saved a few from the hacksaw.

Grab it while the grabbing is good! :)
 
Anything under $600 is a steal in today's market. If it comes with a rare as hen's teeth bayonet then add another $250.

I had an offer on mine which is all matching and in 90%+ condition along with its bayonet in similar condition from a US collector at $850US recently and he takes care of NSA/BATF.
