M6 Bayonet for M14 at Epps... on their website

Just returned from a visit to Epps and wow, Doug revealed that they have a couple of M14 bayonets from Germany (contract to USA). $ 65 apiece is pretty decent.

Most of you M14 lovers know me as a bayonet lug afficionado, because that's what I competed with and love looking at while watching "Full Metal Jacket" and saying, "Private Pyle, did you join my Marine Corps to suck dzck?" LOL

Lately M6 bayonets have been hard to locate especially on fleabay, but their are available but for crazy prices.

So there, you M14 lovers, there are M6 bayonets to be found!

i've got one of those from way back when it was called west germany- it's actually a SOLINGEN blade- pretty decent steel- but mine was BLUED, not parked,and there were no markings on the shelter or bayonet, except for a couple of proof marks- to the untrained eye, no difference

Unfortunately you have to pay $100 + for a USGI flash suppressor so you can mount your $65 bayo.

Except for those guys who waited for the new Norincos.

I contacted Ellwood this morning about them after seeing this post and got this response:

We are currently out of stock on the M14 bayonets, but we do have additional units on order. These should arrive within the next few weeks, and will be packaged with the standard scabbard. Please check back with us concerning availability on this item.

Collector's Source still has a few M6 bayonets as well. They were very good to deal with when I got mine from them this past fall.

There's a usgi one listed on the EPPS web site, should be able to use that with your norc castle nut.
