I need advice on pricing. Which one is a better deal?
I have found two M6 bayonets.
One is made by Aerial Cutlery, moderately used, with some light rust pitting on the handle. Sheath is average, no retaining straps. Shipped from US price to border is $125 CAD. Here i will most likely get $10 bucks handling charge +12% sales tax. All in all about $150.
Another one is unissued, made by Columbus Milpar, stored somewhere in Holland since 70s, some signs of blue brass oxidation on the sheath, but no visible rust anywhere. $152 to the border. I have no idea what customs going to charge besides handling and tax. So it is minimum $180 + whatever customs decides to charge. Let's take $30. Total $210.
So $150 vs $180-210. Is $200 too much for unissued M6?
