I've got a 673 guide rifle that's undergone a bit of a facelift. I've pulled the rib off, and I'm going to mount a vx-iii 2.5-8. I've got weaver bases on right now, but I really don't like how the rear base protrudes forward over the loading port. I don't want a 1 piece mount, as I'd like to keep that area as open as I can. Maybe Talleys are the answer, but I wish they would make a lower option. Does anyone have a pic of a m7 with talleys, or another solution to my conundrum?
