Gunsmith Henry rempel can make you one. He made one for my sako 85 6 dasher looks good and works perfect.

Yes, it’s a press fit insert, came off a 700 223 DRS custom that I switched back into a repeater. Pm me your address if you want it.

That's a home made one pictured in post 5 ...

The originals are not milled right through at the front, but have a bump in the front to lift the bullet up for ease of entry into the chamber. The originals simply fit on top of the spring and follower allowing easier single shot usage.

Yes the one I pictured isn't attached to the spring, rather it fills in the bottom of the reciever. It was on a 40x stock that had no inlet for a magazine box.

OP,
IF you are using the OEM 700 S/A mag box w/ the 221/222/223 follower w/rear partition piece installed you will need to cut a single round "sled's" length to fit.

If the partition piece is not going to be used whittle a piece of 1/2" thick aluminum w/ a milled radius and an inclined slope for proper feeding as guntech stated.

The radius cut in the "sled" has to provide clearance for the bolt body to slide fwd/aft w/o binding.

Update to this thread ..... Yesterday a follower arrived here.

It was the very generous free gift from Ron (Buckmastr) and much appreciated.

Thank-you VERY much! :)
