Guys,

A friend just took his M700P out of an AICS to put it back in the factory HS Precision stock that comes with the Police models, but discovered that his action screws are too short, and has misplaced whatever screws it came with. Can you guys provide me an OAL for factory action screws front and rear for the HS stock? I'm having a hell of a time finding a definitive number online.

Thanks,

Bradley

I have a pile of Remmy 700 action screws for AICS, Atlasworkx, Badger, CDI, PTG. And they are the allen head socket style.

If you are speaking of factory profile, I have a couple of slotted pairs surplus to me; you can have them for free! I have no allen head 700 factory action screws at home! :)

Hope this helps!

Barney,

What's the difference in length between the AICS/aftermarket DBM screws and the factory set? I should be able to get Casey at Tac Ord to take care of me, but I don't know which screw length is which.

Bradley

Front one is 11/4" I can't find the rear one sorry.

Pavehammer:

The shank of the front is 1" and the rear shank is 1.5" according to my size descriptions printed on the labelled plastic ziploc bag. Remember you might have to carry out some trimming depending on the action's relationship to the aftermarket stock to the bottom metal (yada yada yada). I like having a longer shank to accommodate and deal with any silly surprises.

Lots of great help in our CGNutz community!

Cheers,

Barney
