Hey guys,

This is the unboxing video for my M72 LAW.

PS if any one knows how to operate one of these things (#### and click it), please let me know. Thanks.

If you look forward of the black button on the top (that is the trigger) there is a tab. You pull on that tab forward. Then (the tube has to be fully extended) you can squeeze the trigger and if it was live it would fire.

To recock you have to push safety back to safe. It will not go all the way then partially close the tube by pushing on the black square rubber button and then re extend it

The 'how-to' is on the tube. As I recall, the CF was the first Army to reload 'em. Budget cuts.
^Absolute Bull#### statement.

Klunk touches on the 22mm Sub cal device for the M72/Law/SRAAW. To fire the M72 one removes the end caps/carrying strap and either step on it or lay on it so 1. if you do not fire it you know where it is and 2. it will not be in the Back Blast Danger Area (BBDA) behind a M72 and become dangerous to others by being picked up and thrown by the back blast. Note: once the straps/caps have been opened the M72 is no longer factory water proof and should be the first to be used if one closes it back up and had not fired it.
Smartly extend the tubes and attempt to close (without pushing in the detent to assure yourself its fireable. On the order to fire lay the sights on target and pull the small T shaped handle in front of the black rubber trigger forwards. Fire. Post fire, destroy tube so it cannot be made into a improvised weapon system.
Should the ever reliable M72 fail to fire. Maintain the aim on Target for ten seconds as you may have a hang fire.
After ten seconds remove check to see if you have failed to place M72 to fire (look at the small T shaped handle if YOU had failed to set to Arm then place T shaped handle forward and fire the thing.
If the weapon still fails to fire maintain the aim for a further 10 seconds attempt to put the handle to safe (push backwards) and remove from shoulder, collapse launcher and smartly reextend, set to fire, reattempt to fire. If launcher still fails to fire maintain the aim for 60 seconds place to safe and keeping it pointed downrange place in misfire pit to be blown.
The funniest thing I ever saw was a 66mm rocket NOT explode when it struck the target (sort of amazing as its got two fire methods to assure it does go "BooM" on target) all it did was give a wet sounding "splat" and left a big white splash of explosive on the tank hulk.

I "believe" they were only reloaded with the sub-cal practice rocket...never with the full bore 66mm HEAT round

You are correct. When we fire the sub-caliber we only bring a handful of tubes with us and reload the tubes with the sub-caliber rounds. We toss the once fired tubes once the HEAT round has been fired. The used tubes become training aids afterwards.
