been really thinking I need a bayonet lately I see they are on eBay, would like to hear from people who've ordered theirs from ebay, and if they got it from the US, or China and if there was any issues bringing it in.
if not eBay, where did you get yours from?
i'm looking to spend UNDER $100, (~$50 would be ideal to be honest) spending anymore money on a knife i'd rather buy something a little more practical, this is just "for fun" just like the AR15 it would be going on.

no i'm not interested in an M7.

Amazon.ca has a few. If you want an Ontario Knife Co. one, it's about $120. or you can buy S&W or other cheaper ones for $60 or so. No problems with ordering knives via ebay at least to my knowledge.

i bought a mossberg 590a1 spx and it came with an ontario m9 bayonet! why not just add one of those to the safe?

That's probably one of the best suggestions I've seen. Unfortunately not in the cards anytime soon.
Thanks guys sounds like amazon or eBay will be my best bets.

The Ontario Knife Store is a good place to deal with for the Ontario products. I've gotten several machetes and knives from them. OnKnife has a good reputation for quality and I think the M9 with sheath is $93 (I think that is actual issue knife/sheath combo but can't recall). I'd lean going that route and get the real thing vs a lesser knock-off. My friend bought several different bayo's from them and they have served well for his bushcrafting and he is impressed with them (he's a knife guy and does use his stuff).

EDIT: Ok, I reread the OP and see it is just for fun. Meh, maybe you'll need a good camping knife some day anyways - I'd get the real one still. You'll feel better having a real one in your hand. :D

the $120 or so for a real one is not as much as I thought they could/would go for. but since its more of a "for fun" item I was seeing if money could be saved, i'm trying to decide if 50+% savings ($60 shipped from eBay) is worth it, or if I should buck up and get a real one.......

thanks again guys.

I bought a knock off bayonet at the flea market, had a good solid feel to it. I was shooting my norinco cq with it attached. I later discovered that the plastic handle had cracked.

I went ahead and bought a copy, found one for about $45 shipped and that's what I was hoping to spend on one, I will post pics when I get it.
thanks guys.

I have the same one as yours, no markings except for the serial number. I shot my norinco ar with it on and it cracked the plastic grip. Looks like your scabbard is missing a pouch with the strap going through 2 of the slots.

hey, thanks, I may refrain from shooting with it mounted as much as I feel that I got to try it. (havn't made it to the range yet)
it did have the pouch but I removed it. do you still have yours? did you do anything to try to fix it? hows it holding up.
