M91/59 Mosin Nagant with BNP and Sold out of Service Markings

Hey guys I just picked up a M91/59 Mosin carbine and I know the history of these rifles is already an enigma but mine also has some British markings as well. I'm not finding any information on why it would have those markings to begin with, they are identical to the ones commonly seen on Enfields. I'll post up some pictures when I get the chance but in the mean time does anyone have any ideas on why it would receive these?

I don't know much about the Bulgarian carbines but I don' think I've heard of one in British service.

The only thing brits and mosins have related is That they made some stocks for m91s, but I suppose anything is possible

BNP would mean that it went through the Birmingham Proof House. Transited England while surplus.

I had a feeling that was the most likely case. A Mosin Nagant in British service seems highly unlikely.

Awesome! That's one mystery solved, thanks a lot! Was there ever an import of these to Canada that passed through England? I'm guessing there must have been, I've just never seen one of these in person before.
