I'm in the process of receiving an M95/30 stutzen that likely went the route for getting the brass front sight protector. She doesn't have the protector anymore though. I am curious if anyone has seen one or has one ?
The only picture on my reference site gives a general idea but I am curious if it is a sleeve that slips onto the front sight. I am also wondering if the pin at the back of the sight hood is similar in design to the Israeli Kar98k sight hood ? Finally, I am wondering if the sight hood protector could be used between the Stutzen front sight and the carbine ringed front sight ?

If anyone owns a M95/30 with a front sight protector, I would, as I am sure others may like, to see pictures.
I would not object to obtaining a sight protector for my stutzen with the hopes of putting it on or just as an interesting reference piece from the conversion period of these firearms. That being said, has anyone seen one for sale ?
