Found a shop witha M954 Brazilian Mauser in 30-06. Bore is dark but rifling still present. Not sure if it was painted or if it is just dried out grease (redish color) on a lot of metal. Previous owner appeared to have tried removing with resulting cracks, not bad not great. Wood is nice. Value? They are asking $200. Also a sportized (wood only cut) #1 (1897) enfield with full length barrel. Again dark barrel, can modern ammo be used in it? They tagged it at $150.
