So I recently changed the type of oil I use on my firearms, and everything on everything else, its working perfectly fine, except for my M98.
Whenever I cycle the action back and forth, it seems like its dry and binding.
BTW- I'm using 3in1 Silicone. Should I switch back to the Hoppes for the M98, or could there be something else wrong?
EDIT: Ok- thanks all for the replies
I kid!
Anyways- I thought I'd report my finding esp. if other members end up having a similar problem with their M98 Mauser Chilean Issued 308 rifles.
The innards of the bolt (spring/safety clutch?) were as dry as a popcorn fart. A squirt with the 3n1 and its cycling smoother than a cold beer on a hot day.
