MAC no likey the KSG

I've had the sticky extraction of a fired casing... It happens for me with the cheapest shells with a low aluminum or steel rim. I suspect alot of his issues were ammo related... (Save for the elevator issue.)

And on that note, I have not had the issue where the gun fails to lift the next shell high enough to chamber it.

My KSG runs flawlessly on buckshot or slugs.

I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Cheers
Jay

I run reloads in mine. Mostly Federal hulls like he's using.

I don't know what is going on with him.....and his, but mine has never acted like that.

My KSG runs flawlessly, as does my RFB, and I certainly don't have any marks on my wrist from it.

Go figure....MAC making a Keltec product look bad....whodathunkit? Lmao, HARDLY an unbiased review.

I think MAC is fairly unbiased. I mean even after his RFB thing, but in my eyes your rifle/shotgun what have you should be able to fire every round manufactured in the correct caliber(from surplus to winchester and beyond).

own a couple and im hitting targets up to 150 yards using 1 3/4 slugs, the only thing i recommend is racking the firearms to load a round you cant be a pansy doing it, you have to man up. Have used many load and have had many hours of shooting and its always a rush the throw 15 rounds downrange without a reload.. It is the price firearm in my 3 gun tactical shoots......
I think people don't like it either because
1. They don't own one and cant find one or
2. They are not into Tactical style shooting

LOVE love love it..

Happy shooting to all.........keep them tight and on target....

Does the vertical grip cause any issues? I have seen issues on other pumps when a VG has been used. Twists the action a little bit.

The Magpul vertical forend grip helps keep down muzzle-rise and helps racking it way more easier.. have had no twists or action issues... With the KSG you only need a few add on's, A cheek cover, Forend grip and some good AR pop up sights is all you need...

I have a cheap tapco vertical grip on my KSG. Runs fine and feels much better than the stock forend. Ill switch it out for something else sooner or later but I like it for now.

I didn't need any of that stuff for my Fabarm. :)

I put close to 200 rounds threw mine this weekend with 4 different people using it and never had a single issue with it other than my thumb is sore from loading it.

We put anything I could find through it to try and have issues (except aluminum cases) and not one issue. I guess there were 2 issues, sore thumb and a sore shoulder from 15 consecutive slugs and then ghosting them into the loading to mix it up. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Same for my RFB.

hickok45 cut his wrist in the same spot during his review, i have yet to be able to try one so am reserving judgement but the casings hitting the wrist dont seem to be just a mac thing, hickok45's review is basicly all positive btw

No wrist issues but I put 3 different loads through mine , new and non stop cycling issues. When empty smooth, when loaded afetr pulling pump back kept catching
