Finally got around to ordering a replacement stock for my bubba'd 30-40 Krag.

It's bbl was chopped to 19" so no restoration for this one ( it looks longer in the pic)
A friend tipped me to this company.
They were very quick and it seems like a well done stock IMO

No expert by any means but I'm hoping it'll have a nice grain when I'm done

I've not disassembled the original yet but the blank seems to have all of the proper inletting.

Somebody is bound to say this belongs in " Gunsmithing , but folks on this forum do a lot of fixing / replacing stocks on Milsurps. I thought it seemed to fit in this forum.

I'm thinking just going with a BLO finish, keep it simple.
But I would have to recommend these folks, about 8 days from Georgia to Podunk, AB.

Is that Macon Gunstocks ? If it is i got a Winchester 100 carbine stock from them. Just waiting for it to come back from the gunsmith. I have no patience for wood working. They are a great company

Yes, it's Macon Gunstocks.
I'd sent them a thank you e-mail & in their reply they commented that they ship to Canada weekly.
