Made A Decision!!!

Greetings,

After a lot of reading on here, talking to a few people and reading around the interweb I have made a decision on what tactical/precision rifle I am going to get.

I originally thought about building a custom rifle using a Savage with a detachable magazine as a base and turning it into a 6.5X55 tack driver.

But after seeing the new Tikka T3 Super Varmint in 6.5X55 I have found my rifle.

Now to just save up the pennies to get this big budget boom stick.

Any thoughts about the rifle or suitable optics would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on your purchase. It is a very nice rifle and should shoot very well.

For optics, I'm a big fan of the new gen Sightron SII Big Sky and SIII LR scopes.

They offer performance and features well beyond their price point.

Tikkas are terrific, accurate rifles. Good choice. It needs nothing except practice to be a good shooter.
