Hi there,

Finnish Lion is not in production. It was indeed made by Valmet which was later merged with other companies. Sako quad is the only .22 in production.

I have a Finnish Lion ISU rifle that I use for shooting gophers. My primary complaint with it was how heavy it was. I ended up cutting the barrel down and hogging out the interior of the stock. It is still heavier than the equivalent Anshutz but the rifle shoots amazingly well.

It is a right handed action in a left handed stock which is kind of a weird combination.
