saw a sweetie yesterday, nobody knows anything about it, buddy has it for sale. It has a silver receiver, some engraving, blued barrels, nice wood but on the lighter side, loaded/unloaded indicators on the sides, med length barrels. Looks absolutely mint. Price marked $500. Anyone know anything about this brand? Good? Bad? Priced right? I'm interested in it. Thanks for any help.

Probably a FEG. Haven't heard anything bad about them. TradeEx has likely had them for sale, although 20ga would be less common than larger bores. $500 would represent quite a premium for 20ga. If any part were to ever break, no idea where parts could be had.
Fegyver- és Gépgyártó Részvénytársaság ("Arms and Machine Manufacturing Company"). They were producing all kinds of small arms over the years. Not exactly well known for quality stuff though. I keep seeing these 12 ga shotguns priced at $200-250, but I never been interested in owning one, so can't really help you more here.

There is nothing wrong with Feg shotguns. Good value for the money. 20 gauge is quite hard to find in this country.
