Canadian restricted pistol mag capacity is, of course, limited to 10. Does that include the one in the barrel? I've always wondered wether adding the extra bullet, and thus making it 11 would be a gun ownership ending act. Any thoughts? Thanks

The one in the chamber (barrel) does not count. Only the ones in the magazine do, that's why they call it "Magazine" capacity. Hope that helps.

this is a tricky thing with lots of grey areas..

10 in mag, barrel doesnt count

LAR15 mag (10rnd ar15 mag) put in ar15 rifle - legal
12 9mm rounds in .40cal glock mag -legal

forcing 6rns into a rifle mag pinned to 5 - illegal
