Mag caps

if i buy a glock 17, and it's mag capacity is 17 rds, is it caped at 10 or 11 or can you have the 17?

I'll be nice before someone isn't. All pistol magazines in Canada are pinned to 10 rounds.

To follow up on what S Pete said if you do happen to have a 17 round magazine for your Glock and it's not pinned to 10 rounds you are in possession of something prohibited and illegal..... if that's the case pin it or destroy it ASAP!
