Mag extension with bayonet lug for 870?

I was looking and I have seen some Mossbergs and 870s on the net with a necked in section and a lug on the extension brace to accept a bayonet. Does anyone know if you can buy these parts as aftermarket parts, or can you only get them on shotguns assembled at the factory?

The US military had these bayonet adaptors for their 870, made by Remington. No longer made, but surface at US gunshows every so often and pricy to boot.
