Regarding the "reliability" of the various guns mentioned.
I came across this article recently. It is for a completely different gun, a pump action one. ( looks similar to a Dagger SAP6 actually)
The point the author makes is that far too many people have an issue with a gun, but the issue is actually ammo based.
In his example, he suspects that the spring pressure in the magazine is deforming the rounds. Change ammo, and the problem goes away.
Food for thought...

The primary feed issues I've had with my Asena have been entirely mag related.
I have a number of mags from different vendors, and there are two things that make a big difference.
1. Feed lips. These are wildly inconsistent from mag to mag, regardless of vendor/manufacturer. A little tweaking back and forth with some needle nose pliers gets them set right. Too tight, and the round will "nosedive" and jam against the front of the magazine, or the bolt will just skip over it and not feed at all. Too loose, and the front of the round "pops up" and is prone to slipping sideways and jamming against the front of the ejection port. There's a sweet spot you have to hit right in the middle. Fortunately, these are metal mags (the same mags used by a lot of the different guns on the market right now), so it just takes a bit of time and patience to get it right.
2. Follower. I really need to make some pics here, so you can see the difference. I've come across three different types of followers in these mags, two work, one does not. The two that work do a very good job of having a "no-tilt" feature, the one that doesn't... Notsomuch. Easy to test by putting one round in the mag, and pressing down on the front of the round. A certain amount of play is fine, but the follower that doesn't work, well, you can almost get a 30 degree angle when you press down on the front of the round.
