I just received my new CSA carbine in 7.62x39 and one of the mags is fitting really tight. It is a real b*t*h to remove. You really have to struggle with it in order to remove it. I also have 2 cz 858 mags and only 1 of them fits ok but still ain't desirable. The little stub that locks the mag in seems to be rubbing on the mag release. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to the mag to get proper fitment? I'm not sure if grinding/smoothing the edge of the stub down some would affect it's ability to stay locked in. Thanks for your input!

I know this sounds cheezy but...
Sand down the excess paint on the side walls or put them in and out a few times. This is because there is way to much paint on the mag's and they fit way to tight in the mag well. Also it's another reason why I always send them off to Murdoc to get sand blasted and Arma-Coated. Well worth the money in my mind.

I just spend all day quoting what Satain writes cause it's the truth! :p

Had to do the same with a load of magazines I ordered in. Used air tools and buffed off the paint and some material until each mag fit properly.
