Mag follower

get the magpul ones, they work well and might be easier to find. Brownells has the anti tilt green ones I think and the Magpul ones. But do you really think anti tilt is an issue in 5 round magazines?

With 5 round mags it probably isn't an issue. In my service mags I haven't had a problem with the regular issued black followers. The only problems I've had with my magazines are feed lips damage or deformity to the mag body, and that includes overseas use. I've tried to make them fail but only mud and filth can cause the followers to stick, maybe that would be more difficult with the magpuls, but I suggest that you give your mags a good kicking before spending the money on new followers.

green followers

Never had a problem with stock (black) followers. I shoot every week and never had mags problems other that dirt. A lot of items on the market are just hype to get sales. For example a lot of people think Toyotas are good cars. Had one and will never purchase one again. Gun parts the same story. The only thing, if you feel that there is a difference then you made the correct choice in replacing your followers.

There is a company in the States called Wolf Springs that can provide many gun springs.

However, I concur with the above posts that there is no point in replacing parts unless you have a problem.

I would not be worried about mag tilt. Pinned to 5, semi-auto fire, and without serious punishment the black ones should hold up fine. Save the money and buy more ammo
