I want new mag pouches and want some advice. I am looking at CR Speed Versa mag pouches or DAA Racer mag pouches. Any reason to go for one or the other? Does anyone have experience with the CR Speed Double Versa mag pouch? I want them for CZ Shadow magazines, S&W MP9 magazines and 1911 magazines.

Sorry if this had been asked before. I did a search and could not find anything.

My friend has been running the CR Speed's for his Tanfoglio without any issues. They seem to be ok.

I have been running the Ghost 360's mentioned above for my Shadow and I couldn't be happier. Started with them all set up to carry mags bullet forward then transitioned to bullets out and found I prefer that. Nice to have the option to play around with the configuration like that. Also, I haven't had a single mag pouch issue but I did have a Ghost stinger holster that cracked on me one winter during a match. Talked to the dealer and they passed it on to Ghost International, they sent me a new holster within two weeks and took the broken one back without any problems. Good product backing there

Ghost works perfectly for single and double stack. I use them in IPSC for my CZ 75 and 45 ACP single stack. No issues and significantly cheaper than the other options. Forgot to mention that no changes are required to use with either mag type. The tension blades hold either mag type firmly in place.

I run the daa racer mags, and yes they can be used for single stack and double stack, but honestly do you want to be changing them back and forth all the time? I am in the process of maybe thinking of shooting 2 different division in IPSC but I will be getting two belts with two different mag pouches as the time and frustration to change them over is to much for me.

We sell the DAA pouches and I personally use them and really like them. They have a little wheel you spit to apply tension to the magazines and unlike some other brands, then tension the whole magazine instead of a tiny spot. They can be used with single stack as well but they require adapters (sold separately) for that. The nice thing about DAA pouches is the belt attachment is very thin which means you get maximum velcro hold from your belt and you can put the pouches closer together. Also, they can be set up in standard configuration or bullets out.

all of the above will do the trick. I have been using Guga Ribas/Ernie Hill mag pouches since 2005?/2006?. I upgraded to newer units a few years ago. Love em..they fit almost all my mags...tanfoglio small and large frame mags, HK mags, even 1911 single stack mags with the adaptor. I think I could even run AR 223 mags in them if necessary.

Belts, I prefer either Ghost, the Double Tap Sports belt or CR speed. I like that the Ghost and Double Tap sports belt are very rigid. Holsters,..there are so many to mention,..but the ones I constantly use are the Ghost Ultimate, the Ghost Stinger, Gcode, and Solely Canadian. I also like the newer Ernie Hill/ Guga ribas holster. I used to swear by the Speedsec holster for my old HK's, and it is still a good holster for range use.

What the heck - I'll toss in our input -

We import and distribute around 4,500 CR Speed Versa Pouches a year - Rescomp is definitely doing something very right.

I like the CR rigs and have done well with them in the past, but gotta go with Mo on this one, really like the new Ernie Hill stuff

You haven'tconsidered any of the magnetic mag holders? I have theghost magnets and they work well. Tehy're also good for just about any steel body mag. Just my 2 cents.

I have been using the Ghost 360s and they have been working very well wth glock magazines, not to mention I can throw in my M&P9 mags with no adjustments if I decide to shoot it instead.
