Magazine Assembly will not come out on Norinco SKS

On every video I have seen on youtube, the magazine assembly comes out fairly easily after removing the trigger assembly.

I've removed the trigger assembly on mine but the magazine will not budge. Is there a trick to getting these things out in some Norinco SKS rifles?

Mine seems to wiggle but my hands are practically bleeding from trying to pull this thing out (and I don't want to break the rifle so I'm not using tools).

If you've got the trigger assembly off, then you should have the mag bottom with attached follower swinging free. If you lower the mag bottom till near vertical you should then be able to grab the sheet metal internals that are still in the stock and pull them out. The internals on my Norc SKS were very hard to get out so I had to very carefully resort to pliers and some elbow grease to "persuade" it out. I also neede to pry between the bottom of the reciever and the top edge of the mag sheet-metal internals with a wide blade screwdriver. On mine, there was a very tight fit between the rear of the mag internals and the two vertical posts on the bottom of the reciver; it was a VERY tight press fit.

That is crazy, that one has to use tools to remove the magazine from the rilfe, or the need for that much force.....

I would hate to be the soldier in the field having that much trouble or having to look for tools and or screwdrivers to remove the magazine.

There is certainly something wrong,,,,,as it should not be that difficult to remove....

do you guys have the top half of the rifle apart first ?
 
If you do not remove the bolt & bolt carrier from the reciever before tring to remove the mag assembely I could see the need for such tools & effort. Although the sad part is that this will probaly cause further issues for owner of said rifle.
Next time try locking the bolt to the rear before removing the mag.
