I am using "Accurate Magazines" in a Cadex stock with a Remington 700 short action left hand in a 6.5x47L. I am experiencing failures to feed. The bullet points are jamming, not in the magazine, but just above. Should I adjust the front edge of the feed lips upward to alleviate this problem? Should I change to a different magazine?

I'm not sure how to adjust properly, but I had the chou's build me a repeater and the have the mag feeding perfect. I bought a second magazine and it doesn't feed as well as the one they set up.

I find the AI mags work better in my Cadex

Give Cadex a call and let them know your issue, They will sort it out.

I have some issues like that from time to time as well in my Cadex chassis Rem 700 SPS 308 with AI mags . I need to push down on the back of the top round to get it to feed sometimes .

Try the magpul mags they feed like a dream in my cadex and everything else I've used them in for that matter. I don't even bother with the AI mags or accurate mags anymore

AI mags are much better than the others IMO, I have not tried a magpul one though. Adjust the feed lips if necessary and smooth them out with some high grit sandpaper.

I tried adjusting the feed lips...still experiencing problems. I noticed that Accuracy International has several models of magazines, AW AICs and AX. Which one for a Cadex stock? Also, where can I find Magpul magazines? Thanks.

What did you use to adjust the feed lips? I spent about 3-4 hours and literally 100's of dummy rounds to get it done.

I am pretty sure Cadex uses the AICS mags.

Hello Peter,
From what has been written in this thread, I would assume so. The Magpul website states that their magazines are AICS compatible. The one I have is made of polymer, so no adjustment of the feed lips is really available. Doesn't matter, it works as is.

Well these Magpul mags are a breeze to load compare to my Metal AICS mags.

They fit the Cadex like a glove :)
