What rifle is this for?

The newer Anschutz MPR and Savage Mark 2 magazines have a square notched out in the back at the top, Anschutz have the same holes, Savage have no holes and a 'fin' down the back.

Do you still have this magazine? I have a Savage 4C that's been missing one for a long time.

Wisner makes new ones, http://www.wisnersinc.com/model/savage-bolt-action-rimfire/
Brownells carries them but I'm not sure if Wisner is registered for export. I might of ordered a bunch from numrich back in the day but I can't remember for sure.

Alternatively, you can take a new savage mrk2 magazine and grind the extended spine down and then add a notch(as you can see on the back) for the magazine release to seat in to.
It works better then nothing. Actually the factory magazine release spring might be strong enough to hold the magazine in place without needing the notch.

Went through my emails, I ordered directly from Wisner in the past because Brownells told me they couldn't export them due to Wisner not being registered with the feds to do so.

Thank you very much for the info. Every time I place an order from Numrich I look for that mag, but they never have them in stock. I'll see if I can do better with Wisner.
