Can anyone enlighten me on mag issues with 45 ammo for a P220?
I have just purchased a Sig P220 extreme(New) and 3 extra Sig mags.
Should be receiving it in a couple weeks forego any issues.

Now I'm reading about ammo which led me to talks about P220 mag issues with hollow point ammo etc.

Any info would be appreciated while I keep reading everything I can find.

P.S. I was just about to order 1000 rounds of PMC 230 grain FMJ from a dealer so I'd like to make sure before I drop the coin.

I am unfamiliar with the issues you are talking about although I only use FMJ and not hollow points. I have two P220's and even some of the funky Sig ten round mags and I haven't experienced any feeding issues.
 
Likely an individual mag issue. Even the forum link you sent says the same thing.
My SIG 220 feeds anything with a round profile including Hydra Shoks and old CCI Flying Ashtrays. It doesn't like lead semi-wadcutter bullets though. Definitely no issues with ball ammo.
 
OK thanks folks. I think I'm going to go for a 1000 rounds of PMC 45a to start with and maybe a couple different types of Hornady Critical Defense FTX and Speer Gold Dots to mess with. :D

Those Buffalo Bore 45 P+ look like fun to. LOL
