How many people actually take their handgun mags apart to clean? What do you use?

Use the same solvent and patches you use on your firearm.

When you shoot IPSC there is no time to put empty mags away. Just run and gun. Before long you'll have sand and grit inside. Then it is time to clean magazines. Better to wear out the parts than lose a stage for a magazine jam.

I have a long leftover baby bottle brush to swab out the innards. Leave them dry for matches, and wiped with Hoppes #9 for storage.
