Magazine questions

I have seen a few ads for magazine fed 22 that take short/long/LR is that possible? I tried some shorts today in a LR magazine no go. Is it possible. I'd like to be able to shot shorts with my bolt actions.

And is there a site that lists different compatible magazines. I have an older Husqvarna with one mag. Would be nice to have a spare or 2

There was a similar Q recently. Others have posted that some few 22s have adaptable mags for this function. The thread just ended a few days ago .

Thanks I found it. Wonder what the difference in mags are that one feeds and another tumbles the round into the empty space like mine. I'll try the husky see if it feeds shorts.

Mossberg made magazines that were short long and long rifle they used a spacer that you
could adjust

a LR shell is going to be a whole lot closer to the chamber when it pops from the mag lips
If your mag isn't formed to control the round there can be issues as you found
load the mag with each and watch closely as the bolt is cycled
