Magazines for Springfield Garrison 1911 9mm?

As above, they should all be built to the same specs - As long as we're not talking Officer's model format (with the shorter grip).

However, 1911s are pretty famous for some individual pistols needing particular types of magazine and/or ammo. Yours is probably fine with generic mags, but there's no way to know until you try your specific combination.

Some brands and models of magazine are probably "best in class" - For 45 I think it's Wilson and CMC, maybe it's the same for 9mm (maybe not).

Springfield style 9mm mags have the spacers on the front of the mag body, rest have them in the back. I don't find any difference in reliability between them. I use mainly Metalform and Mecgar for my 9mm 1911.
