Does anyone have any experience with these units?

My Lowrance Eagle Explorer has finally crapped out on me and I'm looking at replacing it with another unit. Canadian Tire is selling this Magellan for half price ($599.99 reg) at $299.99 and it would cost a little less to get my old GPS refurbished and upgraded. Customer service even told me to look at a new one instead.

I just figured that if this one is half price and a really good unit I would be better off with it.
 
I've got an Explorer (had it for 3 years) that has been used infrequently and is in perfect working order. I'm looking to upgrade, so if you would like to stay with the same brand/model PM me with a reasonable offer.
 
If you can find a Costco that still has them, they had the same Magellan unit on for $259.00 at the very least get Crappy tire to price match. I was thinking about that unit but an thinking about the Explorer for about $125 more. Way more bells and whistles!!!!
 
Thanks for the offer Yorgi but if I'm buying another one I want the option of downloading maps for both hunting areas and streets. This is the first time looking into getting another GPS unit. Maybe I should try geocity for more info.

Steelco I've got a Costco not far from me so I can try them out as well.
