Here's a few pics I took tonight of the best front sight tool you can buy. I purchased it out of the US before Neit Arms began to import them.

The handle will stand up on the front sight post for adjusting elevation or installing/removing the sight. It also works with the NEA fibre optic sight post.

The last time I adjusted the windage on my VZ it was with a c-clamp, a door hinge and a piece of wood. This is much nicer!

Yeah we just got some more in. We sell a lot of Magna-Matics tools (AK, AR15, AR10), they're all overbuilt and work very well. Stay tuned for the M14 tool (in testing) it's sure to be a biggie.

We stock them ourselves and Target Sports ordered some to carry.

I need to remove the 'guts' from one front sight and install them in another.
Will this tool allow me to do this?

What do you mean by "guts"? The windage drum that the front sight screws into?

I don't think the tool has enough throw to push the drum all the way through, but it will get it started and just use a brass punch and a hammer to finish.

Maker is in the title of the post. Canadian dealer in the second sentence. $32 Cdn.
Well look at you, Mr. High-and-Mighty, expecting us to actually read your posts! :D

What I am wondering is where the door hinge came into play the old way you were doing it?
