magnet for standard

I am sure there are a few that have a magnet or so... I know i shoot production and have a magnet and on my Classic rig I have 2 magnets. Just as long as they follow the rules as to the mag positioning.
Magnets are subject to the same rules for placement as any of your other gear (ie behind the hip bone for Standard). Most people use the magnet in the first position but it is a personal preference so you will see some variance out there. A magnet is an important piece of gear for stages with table pickups as it is significantly faster to click a magazine on to the magnet than trying to put into a pouch.
We actually sell three types of magnets:
1. DAA Racer pouch with magnet on the side
2. DAA Open face magnet
3. DAA Deluxe Magnetic Pouch
The 3rd option there actually is a magnet with wings on the side that prevents the magazine from turning when you run or bump it. This means it can substitute a pouch perfectly. The downside compared to an open face magnet is that you have to be more deliberate in clicking the magazine into position as the wing would prevent you from just slapping it anywhere.
I am in open and I run an open magnet in first position and then two of the deluxe magnets in the next two positions. I like magnets!

4 DAA deluxe magnetic pouches and one DAA racer regular pouch. I much prefer the DAA deluxe magnetic pouches as you can get your entire hand on the mag itself and get your index finger on the mag not the pouch. I removed the top magnet on each pouch because they are so strong you only need one. The magnetic pouches mount lower on the belt than the racers also which I prefer. I have my mags facing out.

I take the hanger off the CR Speed ones that we sell, drill the first CR Versa pouch on my belt and mount it there facing out - works awesome.

I have the same setup on my standard rig as this classic one.
Best setup I've ever seen / used.
