Magneto speed barrel mounted chronographs. Any experience?

Don't conventional jacketed bullets use a fairly soft, nearly pure lead?

Good question. Don't know. Depends on end use perhaps. Target, pure lead is ok. Hunting, something a bit tougher that isn't going to completely deform?

I'm not sure it's incredibly important how it senses bullets, but the fact is it does, with all the types I used. I will try with a .22 next time I'm out, but I'm sure I will have no problem.

And yes, the V2 I believe has an improved mounting system, though now that I have this one figured out it's worked well for me.
