Magneto v3 sporter? Anybody using one?

Just wondering if anybody is using the V3 sporter,to chrony their ammo.
If so, do it work well with pistols?

I use mine for rifle ..... it works awsome well for me .....I have the app and the app on my iPad .... I have done load development and I nearly pooped my pants when I found a load that work out .... it gave me what I needed to calculate for every 100 meters out to 400 meters well even 500 but where I hunt 375 is the farthest shoot..... I tested it and and was accurate to 40 mm
Long story short they work very well ..... and if a banana like me can use one that has no computer background knowledge

Would be cool if you use this on a pistol. There is an picatinny adapter to use on pistols but only for the more expensive V3, not the Sporter.

yes,you're correct, it doesn't work with the CZ sp01 either.

I was looking at them last night, looks like you can attach the sporter model to a pistol.
With the adapter.

The description on that adapter says it's for the V3, not Sporter model, unless they did come out with one for the Sporter too, that would be awesome.

You're correct.
And they don't work on the CZ SP01 either.

And then just shoot directly over it?

lol, great minds think alike. I too was thinking up that scenerio and was Googling searching to see if anyone used their Sporter for semi-auto pistols but came up empty.

I guess the first step would be figuring out a way to bench mount it. Maybe a tripiod with a clamp?
