Magnetospeed

With the thread regarding the new chronograph. I have been thinking of maybe a new magnetospeed. Just there seems to be 2 versions. The V3 and the sporter. One is just about double the price. Is it worth it?

I personally have a magnetospeed V3, and I feel it is worth every penny. I cannot over state how happy I am with it's ease of use and performance. If you can afford the V3 I would go that route, I have read several members of the forum express regret not going for the V3.

if you're able, go with the V3. Don't think there is a rifle or pistol it won't work on.
I also purchased an adaptor for rail and also the extra so that data can be uploaded to the phone App.
I have not been disappointed! I also upgraded the batteries to lithium.
Ordered mine from western metal in Calgary. Find their add square on the side bar.

V3 is better quality and can be used with suppressors, also you can store multiple shot strings on an SD card. I went with the sporter, it showes me the SD/ES/MV, does everything I need for a better price. With my MTU barrel I had to make my own rubber barrel grip because the sporter only goes up to 1” barrels but I had an easy cheep fix
